Madre Tierra

Madre Tierra Producciones is a feminist production company dedicated to the cause of gender equality and equity and to combating violence against Hispanic women.

We create our own content for radio, television, social media, blogs, film and print media. We seek to ensure that our content not only informs and educates, but also promotes positive social change and contributes to the denaturalization of the mistreatment of women.

Originally from Caracas, Venezuela, Arianne has multiple degrees in art, art therapy, theater and women’s studies. In 2009, Arianne found her true passion: empowering women in their development and understanding of their rights. For nine years, she worked at the National Institute for Women, where she was responsible for training women experiencing violence and raising community awareness about the new gender perspective.

Since 2017, Arianne has been living in Philadelphia, where she has continued her community work through PhillyCam, producing the program “Atrévete” and leading the project “Madre Tierra Philly,” a benchmark in Spanish-language programs. She was awarded the Innovation in Radio award at the 2019 Cammy Awards, and in 2020, The Philadelphia Inquirer named her one of the ten most influential Latinos in Philadelphia. In 2023, she was part of the Philadelphia Media Founders Exchange (PMFE) organized by the Lenfest Institute.
